Lion's Mane
Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a mushroom with a long history of use in traditional practices, particularly in Asia. Modern research has explored its potential role in supporting wellness.
Revered in Asian traditions for centuries, Lion's Mane captivates with its unique, cascading white spines resembling a lion's mane. This distinctive fungus holds a special place in historical practices, often associated with qualities of mental clarity and focus within ancient systems. Its delicate, seafood-like flavour makes it a prized culinary mushroom, while its intriguing essence is also captured in modern tinctures for those exploring natural daily rituals.
Shiitake
Shiitake mushrooms are native to East Asia and are now widely cultivated worldwide. They are prized for their rich, savoury flavour and have long been valued in both cuisine and traditional medicine.
In traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine, shiitake has been used for centuries to support general wellbeing, vitality, and immune health. They were often seen as a “tonic” food — thought to strengthen the body and promote longevity.

Today, shiitake mushrooms are recognised as a nutritious food source, providing protein, fibre, and various vitamins (notably B vitamins and vitamin D when exposed to sunlight). They also contain natural compounds such as beta-glucans, which are being studied for their potential role in immune function and cardiovascular health.

Reishi
Known for centuries as the “Mushroom of Immortality,” Reishi is deeply rooted in traditional practices and rituals. This grounding mushroom is often associated with calm, reflection, and inner balance—making it a cherished ally in times of modern-day busyness.
Known as the 'Mushroom of Immortality'; in ancient China, Reishi's glossy, lacquered appearance and woody character made it a symbol of longevity and spiritual potency in imperial courts. Traditionally valued for its role in promoting balance and harmony, its complex, slightly bitter profile is often enjoyed as a deeply soothing tea or explored through concentrated extracts as part of a mindful routine, not as a solution.
Oyster
Oyster mushrooms are delicate, fan-shaped fungi that grow naturally on trees and are widely cultivated around the world. They have a mild, slightly nutty flavour and are popular in both culinary and health-conscious diets.
Oyster mushrooms have been used traditionally in parts of Asia and Europe as both food and a natural support for wellbeing. Folk traditions describe them as a nourishing food that supports vitality and circulation.

These mushrooms are rich in protein, fibre, and essential minerals such as iron, potassium, and phosphorus. They also contain antioxidant compounds and beta-glucans, which are being researched for potential roles in supporting healthy cholesterol levels and immune balance.
